Financial Support for Overseas Students

Limited financial support for attending SSDM2014 is available for full-time students living overseas. Please read the requirements and payment conditions to verify whether you are eligible for application before applying.

Requirements

• Your paper must be accepted by SSDM2014.
• You must be a full-time enrolled STUDENT in an overseas country/region’s educational institution.
• You must present and have this presentation confirmed at SSDM2014 to receive the applied financial support.

Payment conditions

• Payment will be made only AFTER the applicants presentation has been finished and confirmed that the paper was definitely presented at SSDM2014.
• Payment will be done in cash, on site, by Japanese YEN.
• Support will apply to ONE person per abstract (the presenting person) only.
• Please note that the maximal amount of support will only be notified in your Notice of Acceptance for financial support.

To apply please send the following documents to SSDM Secretariat.

• 1) Application Form (Download here)
• 2) A copy of your Student ID Card

SSDM2014 will check your application and will inform you of the result by the end of August.
If your application is accepted, you will receive a “Request for Issue Form” by e-mail from SSDM Secretariat. This form will be mandatory, along with your original student ID card and passport, when receiving your financial support. Details will be notified to those accepted.
