Future of quantum computer
— Quantum technology on the move —

Organizer:
Shiro Kawabata AIST
Tetsuo Kodera Tokyo Tech
Kae Nemoto National Institute of Informatics
Katsuhiko Nishiguchi NTT Basic Res. Labs.
Akira Oiwa Osaka Univ.

Over the past few years, a number of large-scale projects on quantum technology have been launched in Japan, Europe, the United States, and China because the technology has a great potential to open a new era of information technology. Since research on quantum technology needs to be sustained for a couple of decades, a world-wide community between researchers, especially young researchers, from various kinds of field must be organized. In this tutorial session, in order to encourage researchers interested in quantum technology to join the community, leading researchers in quantum technology give a lecture on the essence of quantum technology, including quantum computers, current status and issues, and future prospects in an easy-to-understand manner. This session will be held in JAPANESE language.
