Financial Support for Overseas Students

Limited financial support for attending SSDM2017 is available for full-time students living overseas. Please read the requirements and payment conditions to verify whether you are eligible for application before applying.

Requirements

• Your paper must be accepted by SSDM2017.
• You must complete online registration.
• You must be a full-time enrolled STUDENT in an overseas country/region’s educational institution.
• You must present and have this presentation confirmed at SSDM2017 to receive the applied financial support.

Payment conditions

• Payment will be made only AFTER the applicants presentation has been finished and confirmed that the paper was definitely presented at SSDM2017.
• Payment will be done in cash, on site, by Japanese YEN.
• Support will apply to ONE person per abstract (the presenting person) only.
• Even if more than one abstract are accepted, the support will be provided for only ONE abstract per author.
• Please note that the maximal amount of support will only be notified in your Notice of Acceptance for financial support.

SSDM2017 will check your application and will inform you of the result by the beginning of September. If your application is accepted, you will receive a “Request for Issue Form” by e-mail from SSDM Secretariat. This form will be mandatory, along with your original student ID card and passport, when receiving your financial support. Details will be notified to those accepted.
